Installation of fiber optic fast connectors

Step 1: Remove the connector tail cap and pass the optical fiber through it;

Step 3: Put the Miller pliers close to the edge of the fixture to peel off the coating;

Step 4: Wipe and clean the bare optical fiber with a dustproof cloth;

Step 5: cutting the optical fiber;

Step 6: Align the optical fiber with the slot of the main body and insert it. When the optical fiber is initially bent, press down the crimping cover;

Step 7: Screw the tail cap on the cable back to the main body of the connector and snap on the shell.

The difference between fiber optic fast connector and cold connector

The optical fiber cold connector has the same structural principle as the embedded optical fiber connector. It is a sub-product of the fiber optic fast connector. Because its shape is similar to the fast connector, many people can not tell them apart.

The main difference between the cold connector and the fiber optic fast connector is that the cold connector has no movable plug. It is used to directly fix the connection of the optical link node when the fiber is connected to the fiber or the fiber to the cabling in small spaces, and the installation is more convenient and flexible.
